Gerard Way | Here Comes The End 

Gerard Way has released a new track that is featured in the new season trailer of Netflix’s series The Umbrella Academy. The song, called “Here Comes The End,” features Grammy award winning singer Judith Hill. Way said he was inspired to write the track while the first season of The Umbrella Academy was being filmed. “By the time I finished it, 2020 was in full swing, the world had taken a profound turn and the song was finished in a surreal new reality.” Season two is based on Gerard’s Way comic book series, he is also an executive producer for the Netflix show. Vampire Weekend | Live in Florida

Vampire Weekend fans, rejoice! The band has released a brand new live EP, following their 2019 Father of the Bride studio album. The new EP features five live tracks, and is only available to stream on Amazon Music. All songs were recorded at two dates from their 2019 FOTB tour: St Augustine and Miami. The songs featured are “Father Of The Bride,” “Sunflower,” “How Long,” “A-Punk,” and “White Sky.” Stream below.

 

The Flaming Lips | Dinosaurs on the Mountains 

The Flaming Lips have given fans an inside look at their 21st studio album American Head, due out September 11th. This is the third single the band has released. A new music video was released along with the track. Watch below.

 

Jeremy Gara | wraith

Arcade Fire’s drummer Jeremy Gara released a new track and announced an upcoming solo album, Passerine Finale will be the artist’s second album. The album will follow Gara’s 2016 debut album Limn. Aside from his solo projects, Gara is working on new music with Arcade Fire. The group confirmed that a new album is being created. Passerine Finale is set to be released September 11. Sufjan Stevens | My Rajneesh 

Sufjan Stevens has a new track out called “My Rajneesh.” Just last week the artist released a 12-minute epic called “America.” The new song will not be included in Stevens’ upcoming album The Ascension, however both of the latest singles will be pressed as 12-inch vinyl. You can pre-order it now, along with pre-saving a copy of The Ascension, which is due out September 25.
