The first CD Bailey ever bought was Yellowcard’s “Ocean Avenue” and she’s been chasing the rush of discovering new music ever since. Every night from 7–10pm, she brings listeners the latest alternative tracks and the scoop on when bands are rolling through Austin.

For Bailey, Austin’s magic is that you can catch a show every night of the week. Whether it’s a world tour at a big venue, a backyard set, or a DJ spinning in a Royal Blue. Off-air, she programs KGSR HD2 (101X’s sister station), shining a spotlight on local Austin talent and rising indie/folk/americana acts.

When she’s not behind the mic, you’ll probably find her hanging with her dogs, at a concert, bingeing true crime shows, or checking out the latest restaurant or bar to pop up around town. And here’s a fun fact: Bailey has a whole Pinterest board just for festival outfit inspo. She’s usually got her looks planned months in advance. For her, it’s fashion over function every time!

Rave Radar | 9PM

Every week night at 9pm on 101x, Bailey shines a spotlight on a track from the world of electronic music during a new segment “Rave Radar”. From House to Techno and everything in between, it’s your nightly heads-up on dance music you need to know. Could be a brand new release, a DJ playing Austin soon or a throw back on Thursdays, Rave Radar brings a little late night EDM to 101X.
