Forrest Griffen was born in Brooklyn, NY when it was still gritty, cool and cheap. He began his radio career in 1997 at legendary independent modern rock station 97X WOXY. He’s called Austin home since 2010 and spent the first 14 years here on-air at KGSR. He has just one tattoo, and it was inspired by a Pixies song. One of Forrest’s ambitions is to go fishing with Dean Ween.
