Today’s catch comes from the incredible indie folk, alternative rock, indie rock, indie pop, baroque pop, chamber pop, folk pop, avant-garde folk, lo-fi folk, and electronica musician Sufjan Stevens. The extremely talented & ultra-chill artist can be categorized under several genres, but the one thing that remains consistent is the amazing work he puts out. Today’s catch is the latest song from Stevens called “So You Are Tired” and it’s just absolutely beautiful. This will be from his upcoming 10th (completely solo) album, Javelin, which is due out on October 6th. It’s also his first solo album since 2020’s The Ascension; however he sees it as his first “full singer-songwriter mode” albums since 2015’s studio album Carrie & Lowell.
