Just in case you couldn’t tell by the different font, date, or… popularity of the band, Jason’s band Sucktones will not be performing at ACL Fest 2019. Props to listeners @JohninSanMarcos and @RomeroinATX for photo shopping the lineup. Jason thought it was fun so he reposted it, but so many people believed this was a real announcement so to clarify, Sucktones will not be performing weekend 3 at ACL… or will they?
C OF THE WEEK
Deb knows she may possibly offend people with this one, but it needs to be said. Co-credit goes to Deb’s designer Sarah who sparked the gripe, but this is definitely a builder’s pet peeve and needs to be a PSA. Yesterday, when Sarah was re-measuring Deb’s counter, she asked about the height and pronounced it with a distinct “T”. The other day Deb heard her San Antonio Guy pronounce height with a “th”, and realized that’s something that just grinds her gears. Don’t yell at Deb, but just say things right. People that say “heighth” it’s height. You are this week’s C of the Week.
I LOVE YOU CALL
Today we called Gameland in Jersey City, NJ to see if Deb could get them to say I Love You Too. Deb asked if they had any board games for a work trip without wi-fi. On top of Gameland only having video games, they also let Deb down by not having any love because they hung up before Deb could even say I Love You Too.
