Today’s catch comes from the dark sounds of Shlohmo. Henry Laufer is the mastermind behind the LA based electronic band, and he just released a new single from the upcoming Heaven Inc. EP. It’s called “Looking at Plants” and it’s very dark. Just think of a horror piece using wicked electronic beats mixed with eerie jazz…similar to the older style of Massive Attack & Tricky. It’s haunting and beautiful at the same time. Now I want you to watch the accompanying video, which takes dark and scary to a new height. The EP comes out on 9/4, and I can’t wait.
