Winner of Best Rock Album and Best Metal Performance is Ozzy Osbourne!

Ozzy claimed the award against the Black Keys (Dropout Boogie), Elvis Costello & The Imposters (The Boy Named If), Idles (Crawler), Machine Gun Kelly (Mainstream Sellout), and Spoon (Lucifer on the Sofa). Producer Andrew Watt accepted the award on Osbourne’s behalf due to his ongoing medical issues.

Patient Number 9 is Ozzy’s 13th solo studio album and landed him at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart in September. The album’s lead single and title track also received Grammy nominations this year in the Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance categories!

Unfortunately Ozzy has recently stated that he will no longer be able to perform live for his audience due to some injury and health issues. We’re happy to see him get this award amongst his retirement from touring.
