New Music Friday Ft. Phantogram, SHAED, X Ambassadors, and more.

Phantogram

Phantogram

It’s been three years since Phantogram released their third album, Three—but today the duo is back with a new single titled “Into Happiness.” Earlier this month, Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel announced that they will be embarking on a North American tour, which kicks off August 16th. One of their stops will be at Stubbs Austin September 14th, as part of the 101X Concert Series.

SHAED

Electro-pop trio SHAED has released a new single: “ISOU.” Last year, the group propelled to the top of multiple charts with the help of their breakout hit “Trampoline,” which you can occasionally hear on 101X! There is no word on whether the trio will be releasing a new album soon but we’re super excited to hear more from them!

X Ambassadors

X Ambassadors have given us another taste of what to expect on their forthcoming album Orion, due out June 14th. The new single is titled “HOLD YOU DOWN” and it follows their previous single “BOOM,” which will also be featured on the new album. The X Ambassadors are set to hit the road this October in support of the upcoming album; and although they won’t be stopping in Austin, they will be making a stop in both Houston and Dallas.

King Princess

King Princess has just shared the first single off of her upcoming debut album, which is set to be released later this year via Mark Ronson’s Zelig Records. The single—titled “Cheap Queen”—follows a string of previously released hits including “1950” and “Pussy Is God.” Listen to the new single below.
