Today’s catch comes from the UK soulful crooner, James Blake. He just released a one off single called “You’re Too Precious“, which in a way was written for his girlfriend. Blake says this about the song…
“After a certain amount of time, somebody becomes too precious to lose, and now you want to protect them in any way you can.”
“I wrote this song at 5 a.m. and it brought me a lot of peace. Thought it might be a nice accompaniment to a lockdown dinner.”
The genius thing about JB that I have said many times is how he uses a combination of his voice & synths to create new sounds and vocals from out of this world. This is another great tune from Blake. He has also been busy doing acoustic performances online from artists like Billie Eilish, Joy Division, Frank Ocean, and more.
