Deb and Producer Katy are VINDICATED

For Halloween yesterday Deb and Producer Katy dressed as Abbi and Ilana from Broad City. Deb kept going around the office and asking people if they knew who she was. Most of the office hasn’t watched the show so they didn’t get the costume. Deb went to the lengths of even emailing the entire office a video of some of the best moments in Broad City. Even though most people didn’t get the reference, some of our peeps in promotions understood and gave Deb and Katy what Deb says was “basically a standing ovation.” Today when Katy looked at Instagram she had a notification that said: “@abbijacobson mentioned you in her story.” Katy immediately freaked out, it was as if her soul had left her body. Abbi, a.k.a. the real Abbi from Broad City had shared Deb and Katy’s costume on her Instagram story! Deb and Katy were geeking out and felt like all of the confusion in the office over their costume was worth it for this recognition. Thanks, Kween Abbi, Deb and Katy LOVE YA!
