Smashing Pumpkins and Interpol are set to headline Mexico City festival in Spring 2023.
The three-day event, titled The World Is a Vampire Festival, will take place in Mexico City on March 6-9, 2023. Of course Smashing Pumpkins are headlining with the festival title referencing their song “Bullet with Butterfly Wings” [The world is a vampire / Sent to drain / Secret destroyers].
The Smashing Pumpkins recently began releasing their 33 Song Rock Opera, ATUM, and just finished their tour with Jane’s Addiction. Now Turnstile and Interpol will be joining them in Mexico for another rock-centered fest.
Bands include: Turnstile, Peter Hook & The Light, The Warning, Deafheaven, Ekkstacy, and Chelsea Wolf.
