It has been a hot minute since I have done a 101X staff pick (2011, The Kills – Sattelite) and a hot minute since we’ve heard from Broken Bells. James Mercer of Shins fame and Danger Mouse have once again united and hopefully that means a new album and tour soon.
The song is a reflection of our current political climate but it asks “have we really ever seen better times?”
I love it and it’s my staff pick.
