What’s The Dumbest Argument You’ve Had Recently?

Big news! We’re now live on your radio all the way until noon.  You can still get us on your smart home assistant listening box thing (just tell Alexa and Google to play Jason and Deb). Or you can just download the 101X app on your phone and stream us from there!  And there’s always the good old podcast.

Dumb Argument Amnesty

Friend of the show and great Twitter follow, @JennyJohnsonHi5 asked this question the other day and she got some hilarious responses.  They’re a great way to kill some time and have a laugh.

Tunes From The Telly

Today was a very 80’s themed show.  We quizzed Deb on some of the best theme tunes from 80’s sitcoms for Does Deb Know Stuff, and she shared some of her favorites from back home.  Obviously she loved the one for Blackadder, but her list also included some shows that the rest of us have never heard of.  Only Fools And Horses, The Young Ones, Minder, and Plonker’s Corner.  OK that last one is made up, but the rest are 100% real classic shows in England.

I Love You Call

As a sign of the times, we’ve pivoted the I Love You Call from calling random business to calling your loved ones who might need an extra boost in these trying times.  Today we called listener Rebekah’s sister, Callista.  She’s been stuck in North Carolina where she goes to school.  At least she has an amazing view of the hills of North Carolina, even if they’ve closed all the parks and she can’t go hiking.  Guess she’ll have to settle for Deb’s love via the phone.

Stand Down Fact Checkers!

Earlier this week Mrs. Doubtfire was in the Rotten Tomatoes game and Deb reference the line, “It was a drive-by fruiting”.  Turns out we’ve been doing it wrong for decades and Mrs. Doubtfire actually calls it a run-by fruiting.  #TheMoreYouKnow
