In 2014, Bieber was arrested under DUI charges in Miami, Florida. The mugshot gained traction not only for the star it was taken of, but the face Bieber made. Bieber can be seen dawning a wide yet somehow, lifeless smile.

Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to mugshots. After appearing in court 20 times, Lohan managed to rack up quite a portfolio of mugshots. Mugshots, often seen as a negative thing, have been reborn as a kitschy, “y2k” trend, popularized by gen z.

The 48 Hrs. star was arrested in 2002 for suspicion of driving under the influence. It was later confirmed that Nolte was, in fact, under the influence of the psychoactive substance, GHB. In an interview with People, Nolte revealed that he was later told that 6 different people called 911 on him, claiming a sedan was driving on the wrong side of the road.

Bryant was arrested for criminal mischief in 2013. The Los Angeles Times reported the Oakland Raiders defensive tackle had been arrested “after allegedly causing a commotion at a neighbor’s house while inebriated.”

As reported on ABC7 Eyewitness News, the Dodgeball star was arrested for a DUI charge in 2018. Vaughn’s mugshot has a charm similar to Bieber’s mugshot, both flashing that lifeless, glazed-over smile.
