Most of the time Nick’s relationship with his roommates is great. But in the rare cases they have issues, it probably won’t surprise you to learn that passive aggression rules the day. What happened this weekend is a perfect example. Nick’s roommate was using his bathroom when she encountered a cockroach. Luckily she was able to kill it, but failed to dispose of the body, and left it on the floor. No big deal, grab some toilet paper and flush it down the toilet. Easy peasy. But when Nick was leaving to go to his Nana’s funeral, he discovered a giant spider had built a web across their front door overnight. Since apparently the house rules are leave bugs wherever you find them, Nick went out the back door and left the spider for his roommates to discover. Seems revenge is a dish best served stick and all in your hair.
TV Recommendations From Emily’s Mom
Growing up, Emily’s parents almost exclusively watched “old” sitcoms on TBS. You know those classics old-timey TV shows like Seinfeld and Big Bang Theory. So in order to broaden her parents horizons, Emily hooked them up with her streaming passwords so they could watch quality shows like Mare of Easttown. Now it’s Emily’s mom who is the one giving out the recommendations for those hidden gems.

All week long we’re hooking you guys up with ACL Fest single day passes, and today Listener Jonathan called in to play The Setlist Game. Spoiler alert, it came down to the final band and all Emily had to do was name a Guns N Roses song to shatter Jonathan’s dreams of seeing George Straight in Zilker Park. Surely that meant bad news for Jonathan. Right?
