Friday, January 20th

Buzzmill’s 10th Anniversary

It’s the big one-oh! The iconic Austin staple, Buzzmill, will be celebrating its 10th anniversary at the Riverside location. Party hard from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with live music, discounted cans, wells, and PBRs. Plus, the grand opening of “Buzz Burger”, Buzzmill’s newest food truck addition. Grab a $10 burger and fry basket from the half-vegan, half-meat menu and receive a wooden token for a free cocktail or beer.

 

90’s Nite at Elysium

Grab your best slap bracelet and, your sturdiest jelly shoes for a nostalgia-filled night of 90’s music at Eslyium, located on Red River St. The party starts at 9:30 p.m. with a cover of $7 for 18+ and 4$ for 21+ – a small price to pay for the revival of your childhood. The Rock n’ Roll Slide Show at Feels So Good

FREE BEER! Are you listening now? Stop by Feels So Good Records on Alpine Road for a show with some shock factor. Kick back, relax and enjoy free beer and Topo Chico while you watch live music as well as featured performers like The Lizard Man. Electric Feels Dance Party at Empire Garage

Inside all of us is a mustachioed, Ray-Ban-wearing hipster dying to say they knew an artist before that artist was cool. Let that hipster out at Empire Garage for the Electric Feels Dance Party at Empire on E 7th St. A night of dancing to indie music classics from the “indie renaissance” era like Two Door Cinema Club, Vampire Weekend, Pheonix, etc. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and music starts at 9:30 p.m. Ugh, I’ve got to post about this on my Tumblr. Aquarius Birthday Party at Far Out Lounge

Eclectic Aquarius season is upon us. Celebrate Aquarians the Austin way with live music as well as vendors from the Austin Witches Market at Far Out Lounge on S Congress Ave. from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Aquarians get in at a discounted cover by sending their birth date to Far Out Lounge over Insta DMs! Lunar New Year Celebration at Cheer Up Charlies

Ring in the year of the rabbit with Cheer Up Charlies, located on Red River St. from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. This FREE event includes several drag performances and, DJ sets with catering from Steamies Dumplings. To honor the year of the rabbit, this event is rabbit themed so hop on down and dare to fall down the drag rabbit hole.
