UKTX: New Foals, Courteeners Played 9/8, + Complete Playlist For 2019 (So Far)

We featured new Foals song "The Runner" on New Music Friday last week, and we snuck it into the 9/8 show along with news of the October 18 release of Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost, Pt. 2.  Yesterday also brought a UKTX premiere of the newly-released Courteeners single, "Heavy Jacket."  Here's a look at the lyric video:

"Jacket" will be included on new LP More.  Again.  Forever., due in the new year. Liam Fray and band celebrate their return with a pair of arena shows in December--one in their hometown of Manchester and the other down in the Capital.

Here's the complete list of what we got to on 9/8's show:

1975 “People”

Courteeners “Heavy Jacket”

Sam Fender "Will We Talk"

Stereophonics "Fly Like An Eagle"

Blossoms "Your Girlfriend"

Elbow “Dexter and Sinister”

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds "This Is The Place"

Sea Girls “Violet”

Catfish and the Bottlemen "Conversation"
Liam Gallagher "One of Us"

Foals “The Runner”

Gerry Cinnamon "Canter"

And here's one-stop shopping, in the form of almost five hours of music, of all the tunes we've gotten to to-date in 2019 (we'll be into the sweater drawer when we compile the full-year's list in a few months!):
