Deb’s Unpopular Opinion
After all the post-Emmy’s buzz Deb decided to check out Schitt’s Creek… and only made it two episodes before quitting in disgust. For her it was more like Shtick’s Creek. We realize these are fighting words for all the Schittheads out there, which is why Deb admitted up front that she knows this is an unpopular opinion. However, she was not alone and we had several listeners agree with her that they didn’t get the big deal. Producer Nick told her that the show gets much better once the Rose family stops acting so schitty and start to embrace their new small-town life, but he couldn’t pinpoint exactly when that is. So feel free to let us know if there’s a specific episode Deb should skip to, or just accept that it’s not for her.
That Guy
Doesn’t Respect You Craft Guy, don’t be That Guy. We thought we put this to bed on Monday, but apparently we need to go over this again. One of Jason’s friends was talking about wanting to listen to the Office Ladies Podcast and Jason audibly groaned. Not because he’s not a fan of the show, but because it’s essentially two amateurs doing it. Jason’s friend is a school principle, but he would never just show up and insist he could do that job. As Jason said, he’s not asking you to you to shower him with praise for his incredible radio abilities, just recognize that he has abilities that you don’t.
I Love You Call
Deb’s been on a soup kick this week to try and settle her acid reflux, so we called Soupy’s in Louisville, Kentucky to see if she could order up a cup of steaming hot love.
