The Many Head Injuries Of Young Producer Nick

Big news! We’re now live on your radio all the way until noon.  You can still get us on your smart home assistant listening box thing (just tell Alexa and Google to play Jason and Deb). Or you can just download the 101X app on your phone and stream us from there!  And there’s always the good old podcast.

C Of The Week

This week’s C of the Week is allergies. When Deb first moved to Austin everyone warned her that the allergies would eventually come for her. She managed to avoid them the first few years, but lately they’ve been driving her crazy. She’s got an extremely itchy nose and having to wear a mask all the time doesn’t help with that at all.  But she still does, because it’s the right thing to do.  But, allergies, you can get in the bin already.

I Love You Call

As a sign of the times, we’ve pivoted the I Love You Call from calling random business to calling your loved ones who might need an extra boost in these trying times.  Today we called Producer Nick’s mom again.  He originally wanted to call his little sister to wish her happy birthday, but her phone was off so we had to pivot last second. Nick had his mom break down the various head injuries he had as a child.  We learned that Nick managed to fall out of his crib as a baby, he cut his head open falling into the toy box at daycare, twice, and had an incident with a pogo stick and the concrete floor of their garage.  Luckily none of these caused Nick any lasting harm and his brain is totally fine today. Right? Right!

If you’ve got someone you think needs some extra love these days, let us know!

We’ve Still Been Talking About These Pants

All week we’ve been showing off the new pants that Jason ordered after losing a ton of weight.  Today, we took a picture of him wearing some old shorts and it really lets you see how dramatic of a change it’s been.

What Are You Doing This Weekend!

Every week 101X puts out a weekend guide to help you plan your fun.  This week it’s a special Jason and Deb edition about what we’re doing.  And remember, whatever you get into this weekend, be smart, be safe, and wear your mask!

Daily Morale Boosters

If you thought Jason’s acting skills were impressive, you should check out Nick Saban’s in this mask psa.

He’s also fantastic in this Alfac commercial.

If this doesn’t give you the feels then you’re officially dead inside.

Daily Jason And Deb

We’ve got some fancy new cameras in studio and yesterday we filmed a quick round of You AutoComplete Me, aka the Google Game. Enjoy.

Does the fact that Nick learned to run when he was still a baby explain his unique running style?

Help Us Find A Forever Home For Braidy

Unfortunately Deb is having to re-home her dog Braidy.  Click through for details and pics of sweet Braidy, but let us know if you or someone you know can help.

101X presents Fantasy X-Fest
