Covid Sock
Producer Nick shares an Amazon Prime account with his roomlord, aka Nick is a cheap freeloader with a nice roommate, so occasionally there is some confusion as to who ordered what. But a few weeks ago they got a package that belonged to neither of them. Inside was a single sock that had no tag, no packaging, and no name on the front. Just a single sock in an Amazon bag. Now the obvious answer is that with so many deliveries going in and out of every Amazon warehouse, there’s going to be the occasional sock that just shows up on your doorstep. But, what if it’s not? Remember the mysterious seeds people were getting in the mail awhile back? The conspiracy part of Nick’s brain immediately sent up red flags. Is this part of a conspiracy to spread coronavirus by infecting socks and sending them to random radio producers? Is this Nashville trying to take down the Dickman once and for all? Again, probably not, but Producer Nick is keeping that sock in a zip lock back just in case.
C Of The Week
Today we had a Choose Your Own Adventures-style C of the Week. Option A was people who leave their trash cans out by the street all week and don’t bring them back in. Option B was people who encourage their dogs to howl at ambulances. Option A is self-explanatory, but Option B just so happens to be Deb herself. Her dog Braidy has recently started howling at ambulances and now, thanks to Deb’s encouragement, even little Alfie is getting in on the fun.
I Love You Call
Deb was telling us about how she broke her power washer recently, so we called a Capital Repair Services in Virginia Beach to see if they could fix it up for her. Will she finish out the week with some love, or ride a butt slam into Saturday?
