Are The Kids Still Doing Lines?

Deb’s Diary

In today’s diary Deb had a question for the parents, do the youths still have to write lines on the chalkboard if they misbehave in school.  During Deb’s days at St Thomas More Middle School in London she maaaaay have been a bit of a chatterbox and had to write lines as punishment once or twice.  While Jason claims he never got into trouble during his school days, he did admit that he was once sent to the hallway after yawning in one of his classes.  Obviously teachers probably aren’t enforcing this a regular form of punishment these days, but outside of a pandemic is it still a thing?  Tweet at us if you have a good story about getting into trouble back in the day and check out the podcast to check out the once we’ve received so far.

Jason Versus A Regular-Sized Chicken

If you check out the gallery of pictures from Jason’s Christmas vacation you’ll see a couple of them include chickens.  It seems the only thing that can ruin paradise is being woken up by chickens at 3am.  Jason was mostly immune, but one of his friends ended up getting into multiple early morning shouting matches with their rooster roommates.  He even informed Jason he had tracked down the offending fowls to the tree they roosted in.  Luckily the only chickens harmed during Jason’s vacation were the ones that already came in nugget form, but those chickens came closer than they probably realized.

I Love You Call

Since we were already talking about chickens, we called the North Florida Feed and Farm Supply in Jacksonville, Florida to find out what you would feed a hypothetical rescue chicken.
