If you remember, Producer Nick told us his Mom was looking for recommendations to catch the best sunset view as a new way to bond. Nick’s usual family traditions entail trips to IHOP or the movies, but with more free time, Nick’s Mom is ready to explore. Over the break, Nick took his Mom and Stepdad on a hike up Mount Bonnell and out to eat at the original Kerby Lane Café nearby. She even came prepared with a double water bottle fanny pack. Too bad though, the mountain faced west and later they remembered the sun rises from the east. If you’ve never been, it was more of a hike upstairs than a mount, but this is just the beginning of Nick and his Mom’s bonding escapades in nature.
