Blink-182 Makes Jason Proud

Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Matt Skiba of Blink-182 performs in concert at Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood on July 27, 201

Dear Austin360 Amphitheatre, Jason takes back everything he said about you being too far. You’re worth it, and you’re awesome! Last night, Jason went to Austin360 for the Blink-182 and Lil Wayne concert. It was Dave B’s first time in The Tesla, so first they got to cruse down to the venue, there was no traffic entering or exiting, and they “accidently” got free VIP parking. Jason has said many times that Blink-182 is a lackluster rock and roll band live in concert, but this performance changed his mind, and Jason’s “9th favorite band” completely blew him away last night! If you’re wondering about the Lil Wayne, aka Weezy F. Baby, aka Candy Carter addition, he didn’t recognize any songs as he foreshadowed, but Tunechi was a fun entertainer. But then again, maybe Jason just has a thing for artists who shout into the microphone with no regards to how they sound. He still doesn’t quite understand the band-rapper pairing, but he gives the show two thumbs up.
