Man was 2022, as stated in the title, a weird year full of some highs and lows as lived out on the radio. Here are a few memories of significance:
BEST: Everything Austin FC-J
What an exciting year for soccer fans and the home team! Austin FC not only improved upon their record but made the playoffs and the Western Conference Finals in only the second year of the club’s existence. On top of that, I got to experience some of the matches as a professional member of the sporting press and even play in the media cup.

WEIRD: canceling Just Matt & CJ but transitioning to The CJ Morgan Show with Spenny, Emily & Matt
Changing the show again was a bit weird but it turned out for the better as Emily joined the group, Matt stayed around and Spenny got more opportunity to showcase his talent.
BEST: Contest of Influencers & Making Commercials for non clients
In an attempt to make money, we started creating random commercials for randomly chose clients from our lotto bin. Comdidien Avery Moore was actually paid for her Smoking Burnouts Smokeshop bit.
WORST: getting COVID on my birthday
Getting old sucks especially when no one is there to celebrate it with you.

WEIRD: Continuing to Prank Call My Poor Mom
With everyone in studio as my witness this is not scripted and she falls for it every time. Poor mah.
BEST: Almost Sports w/ Jason
Jason and I got a sports show on the new 1027 ESPN. Unfortunately it was cut short by amongst many things, lightening.
WORST: losing Almost Sports and RIP Jason
The whale in the room and everything about this sucked
BEST: Setting the chicken McNugget record
WEIRD: wearing the same outfit for six days of ACL fest interviews and Emily – or anyone – seemed to noticed
Emily and I took charge interviewing many artists during the two weekends of ACL Fest including Wet Leg, Spoon, The War on Drugs and Noah Cyrus. Over the course of the six days I wore the same outfit and no one cared to notice.
WEIRD: Bob’n 4 Baloney
One of our most popular and consultant hated punishments.
BEST: Undefeated at Edit or Bet It
