New Music Friday Featuring Sleater-Kinney, FINNEAS, X Ambassadors, and Bastille

Everyone’s favorite day of the week is here and we’ve highlighted some of the new tunes that you need to be listening to today!

 

Sleater-Kinney

Sleater-Kinney have shared a new single titled “The Future Is Here,” which follows the previously released single “Hurry on Home.” The Washington-based rock band has been working alongside St. Vincent to produce their forthcoming album The Center Won’t Hold. The album is due out August 16th via Mom + Pop Records.

 

FINNEAS

Finneas O’Connell has been a driving force behind the success of his younger sister Billie Eilish; He wrote Eilish’s breakout hit “Ocean Eyes” and co-wrote and produced her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?. Now, he’s on his way towards releasing a solo album and has just shared a new single titled “Angel.” Listen to the track below. This single follows two previously released tracks by FINNEAS: “Claudia” and “I Lost A Friend.”

 

X Ambassadors

X Ambassadors have shared a new song off of their upcoming album Orion, arriving June 14th. The song is titled “CONFIDENCE” and features Alt-Pop musician K.Flay. The X Ambassadors are set to hit the road this October in support of the upcoming album; and although they won’t be stopping in Austin, they will be making a stop in both Houston and Dallas.

 

Bastille

Bastille’s highly anticipated album Doom Days has finally been unveiled. The 11-track album includes previously released singles “Joy” and “Those Nights” The guys will embark on their “Doom Days Tour” beginning September 16th and will be coming to the Austin360 Amphitheater on October 19th.
