The Cure To Celebrate 40th Anniversary with Pasadena Daydream Festival

Recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, The Cure, have helped curate a brand new festival, which they will also headline as part of their 40th Anniversary celebration. The single-day event is called Pasadena Daydream Festival and will take place at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California on Saturday, August 31st. The festival will also feature performances from Deftones, Pixies, Mogwai, Throwing Muses, The Joy Formidable, and a few others (see the full lineup below).

Tickets for Pasadena Daydream go on sale this Friday, May 17th and according to Rolling Stone, “each ticket sale includes a $1 charity donation that supports music and arts organizations and local charities, including Mr. Holland’s Opus, Little Kids Rock, Free Arts for Abused Children, Inner-City Arts and The Painted Turtle.”

The Cure will also be headlining Austin City Limits both weekends in October. 3-Day wristbands are on sale and can be purchased via aclfestival.com.
