Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin have returned with their Hanukkah Sessions and they’re starting off the series with a cover of Lisa Loeb’s classic “Stay (I Missed You).”
The Foo Fighters frontman and Grammy award winning producer joined forces to cover a song by a Jewish musician for each night of the eight-day holiday. The Loeb cover is definitely a unique one. Grohl transitions back and forth from soft melodic vocals to full on metal. It’s remarkably hilarious. Oh, and he rocks a dress and glasses throughout the music video. Additionally, Grohl and Kurstin have covered The Ramones’ “Blitzkreig Bop” and Barry Manilow’s “Copacabana.”
