The Strokes Announce New Album, Share New Single “At The Door”

Over the weekend, The Strokes took to social media to tease an upcoming project titled The New Abnormal. Now, the band has confirmed that the project is indeed a new album—the first from the band since 2013’s Comedown Machine. The New Abnormal will arrive on April 10th and will feature nine tracks, all produced by Rick Rubin and recorded in Shangri-La Studios in Malibu. 

To celebrate the news, The Strokes shared a new single called “At The Door” accompanied by an animated video written and directed by Mike Burakoff. The band debuted “At The Door,” along with another single from the forthcoming album titled “Bad Decisions,” at a Bernie Sanders rally in New Hampshire on Monday night. The Strokes have three North American tour dates lined up: Vancouver, BC on March 5th, Seattle, WA on March 9th, and Los Angeles, CA on March 14th; They will be accompanied by opening acts King Princess and Alvvays.
