New Music Friday Ft. Jimmy Eat World, Foals, Beck, And More

Jimmy Eat World

Jimmy Eat World

It’s been three years since Jimmy Eat World released their last album; however, that all changed today when the band released their tenth studio album Surviving. The album includes the previously released single “All The Way (Stay)” and was accompanied by a music video for the song “555.” The band is currently on tour in the U.K. and will kick off their U.S. tour in November. Stream the new album below.

Foals

Foals have shared their second album of the year, Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost—Part 2. The new album follows the same narrative at Part 1, picking up where the album left off and completing “the artistic statement and striking state-of-the-world-address.” However, as frontman Yannis Philippakis states, “Part two is a heavier listen, the guitars are more emphasized and there are some big riffs on it.” Part 2 was produced by the band themselves and contains previously released singles “The Runner” and “Black Bull.” Stream the new album below.

Beck

Six months after releasing “Saw Lightning,” Beck has returned with two new singles, “Uneventful days” and “Hyperlife.” All three singles will be included in Beck’s forthcoming album Hyperspace, which we now know is due out November 22nd via Capitol Records. The new album was co-written and co-produced by Pharrell Williams and will feature collabs with other artists including Sky Ferreira, Chris Martin, Terrell Hines, and Paul Epworth.
