Foals | Collected Reworks

UK band Foals released a remix album called Collected Reworks Vol. 1. There are 13 new versions of previous tracks from the band, including “My Number,” “Olympic Airways,” and “Mountain at My Gates.” Collected Reworks is the first of three releases Foals plan on dropping this summer. Some of the remixes released in these three volumes will then be featured in a limited edition colored triple-vinyl, set to be released on October 9. Listen to Collected Reworks Vol. 1 below.

 

Liam Gallagher | MTV Unplugged Live at Hull City Hall

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher’s MTV Unplugged performance from 2019 is now available to listen to as a live album. There are 10 tracks in the album, some of those are Oasis classics. You’ll find a live version of “Champagne Supernova” and “Some Might Say” on there. In the mix, you’ll also hear some of Gallagher’s solo work. The artist’s 2019 MTV Unplugged performance featured “Sad Song,” which was the first time Gallagher performed the track live. Gallagher was accompanied by Oasis guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs and the Urban Soul String Orchestra.

Built to Spill | Built to Spill Plays the Songs of Daniel Johnston

Daniel Johnston’s backing band Built to Spill released a covers album dedicated to the late artist. Built to Spill Plays the Songs of Daniel Johnston features 11 Johnston tracks, some of those were recorded during rehearsal sessions the band had in 2017, the year of Johnston’s last tour.

Built to Spill also released a yellow vinyl edition that comes with a 32-page songbook.
