Matty Healy Surprises Fans at Phoebe Bridgers’ Show

the 1975

The 1975’s frontman Matty Healy took the stage with Phoebe Bridgers at a Los Angeles show for a surprise duo-performance. And of course, fans were shook.

This was the first time the two had the opportunity to team up after Bridgers was initially set to open for The 1975 during the 2020 Notes on a Conditional Form tour. Due to COVID-19, that tour never actually happened. The surprise appearance was kept a secret. However, Bridgers did warn fans to “come early” on Twitter. “Trust me,” she wrote.

The two performed “Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America” and Healy debuted two new songs. The two tracks are called “New York” and “Sex.”

Check out their rendition below.
