Interpol have released a new single from their upcoming album The Other Side Of Make-Believe. The track’s titled “Fables.” It’s the third track they’ve shared, following the band’s two other singles “Toni” and “Something Changed.”
Frontman Paul Banks said in a statement that their new track is “a breezy vocal with optimistic lyrics, and a bouncy drum beat evocative of classic R&B with a nod to the golden age of hip hop. It’s a summer jam and a piece of music we are particularly proud of.” The Other Side Of Make-Believe will be Interpol’s seventh studio album; it hits streaming platforms on July 15.
