Foals Share Hand-Washing PSA Video For “Wash Off”

Yannis Philippakis of Foals performs at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire as part of War Child BRITs Week on February 17, 2020 in London, England.

Foals have shared a brand new music video for their song “Wash Off,” which doubles as a PSA encouraging people to wash their hands as the risk of Coronavirus rises. The video shows someone washing their hands for increments of 20 seconds—the amount of time needed to effectively wash your hands, according to The Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Watch below.

Foals recently released Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost-Part 2 and are getting ready to embark on their North American tour which kicks off in May. So far, there is no word on whether they will cancel their tour or not. Many artists have postponed tours due to growing fears of Coronavirus, including Pearl Jam and Green Day, and on Friday, March 6th, Mayor Steve Adler called off SXSW, which draws over 100,000 people to Austin each year.
