Austin ISD has canceled class from March 23rd through April 3rd.

Round Rock ISD official statement:

“Round Rock ISD is closely monitoring reports and information shared by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) about the Coronavirus (COVID-19). During this time, all Round Rock ISD facilities will be closed for instruction and other purposes, including UIL events, athletics, rentals, field trips, after-school programs and other campus activities.”

Hays CISD Official statement:

“Hays CISD schools and offices will suspend normal operations through Sunday, April 5, 2020, at which time we will determine our next steps. This means all in-person classes and activities are canceled through that date. The district believes this action is necessary to help the community slow the spread of coronavirus. We want to stress the importance of social/physical distancing and preventative measures such as hand washing during this time. ”

During this two-week period, all Dripping Springs ISD facilities will be closed for instruction and all other functions, including UIL events, athletics, rentals, field trips, after-school programs and other campus activities. This closure will provide the district with time to assess the situation, respond to ongoing developments, and evaluate the approach for the coming weeks. Families will be provided with additional information this week regarding plans to provide instructional support and resources to students remotely and provide meals for eligible students.

Tonight at 6:30 p.m., the DSISD Board of Trustees will hold an emergency meeting to take action to help the district continue operations during the closure, including a resolution that will be considered for adoption.”
