Forgive me. I’ve been down a post-rock, mostly spoken-word rabbit hole recently, partly inspired by a late-in-life (relatively, I hope) introduction to The Fall and the success of newer acts in that vein–Idles, Fontaines, etc.
Totally fitting the bill, today’s featured outfit, TV Priest. The London four-piece has debut album Uppers ready to go three weeks from tomorrow, on the well-named Hand In Hive record label. A handful of singles have already been shared–all excellent–my fave of the bunch, “Runner-Up”, serving as today’s featured UKTX song.
