UKTX Composite Playlist, 2020

Weird yeah, huh? I benched UKTX for seven months, as I took on some additional duties here at the station. Back since mid-October–in its original form as a one-song-each-weekday feature at 1pm on 101X–UKTX still managed to address 4+ hours of music in 2020, and here it all is, below. My fave discoveries: The Mysterines, ILIKETRAINS, King Creosote; my fave returns: Disclosure’s song with Kelis, Doves’ first venture back into recorded music in more than a decade, and Romy’s cheery new stuff outside the more moody XX fold.
