(3/14/21) Monty’s Catch of the Day – Electric Youth

Electric Youth - "Modern Fears (Pilotpriest Come True Version)"

Today’s catch comes from the electronic duo Electric Youth. Bronwyn Griffin and Austin Garrick make up the Toronto band, which are most known for their song contribution, “A Real Hero”, for the movie “Drive”. Well they are back in the movie business again for creating the score for an indie thriller “Come True“. As a matter of fact, today’s catch comes from the soundtrack, and is called “Modern Fears (Pilotpriest Come True Version)“. This track is a gorgeous piece of music that has ethereal and emotional tones creating an incredible song. The synopsis for the movie is this…A teenage runaway takes part in a sleep study that becomes a nightmarish descent into the depths of her mind and a frightening examination of the power of dreams. This is not their first time to score a film after creating the music for another independent film “Breathing”. You can listen to today’s catch “Modern Fears (Pilotpriest Come True Version)” by Electric Youth, and watch the trailer for the film “Come True” in the YouTube players below. Good things!
