New Videos from SXSW ft. MS MR and The Hold Steady

Posted 3/31/2014 11:15:00 AM

We got some new videos from our SXSW Live Broadcast down at Buffalo Billiards.

Toby got a chance to chat with MS MR and they let us know how much they adore Austin. (Anyone want to start a campaign to get them to move here?)

And here's a special live performance of "Spinners" from The Hold Steady.

If that's not enough for you, we have the raw, uneditied interviews and performances from all the great artists that visited us during SXSW. Just check out our SXSW page to hear from Foster the People, Phantogram, Band of Skulls, and way more. Plus photos!

101X is bringing some of your favorite SXSW artists down to Buffalo Billiards and to the Austin airwaves. From Tues - Sat we'll be on 6th doing a series of LIVE BROADCASTS that are free for 21+.

Today is a special Homegrown edition of our broadcast with a bunch of local artists, with only one exception.

We started the second half of today's broadcast with an interview with local rockers Not In The Face.

After that, David Ramirez came by to do an acoustic performance and interview with us.

Next, The Black and White Years came and hung out with us.

And finally, we wrapped up our day with an interview with Ume.

Today is a special Homegrown edition of our broadcast with a bunch of local artists. The only exception is Bleachers, who aren't from around here but still graced us with their presence.

Kicking off today was an interview and acoustic tune from The Wind and the Wave. You might recognize those two from other local productions, like The Soldier Thread and Matchbox Studios.

Then Jack from Bleachers stopped by to hang out. You might recognize him from a little band called fun.

Then we got to speak with Speak.

And we hung out with one of our Homegrown faves, The Tontons.

They had to squeeze through an insanely huge crowd at Buffalo Billiards, but Foster the People were able to get to the front and give us an interview.
