We like to have fun on-air weekday mornings poking fun at each other, but there are some things that are not so funny that we truly care about.

This is where you can find out how to join us in supporting our community and some causes near and dear to our hearts.

The Flatwater Foundation is dedicated to providing access to mental health support for individuals and families in need, coping with a cancer diagnosis. Our network of social workers in the Austin area match those in need with top therapists to provide life-saving care for the mind.

Deb: "I had the privilege of stand up-paddling down Lake Austin to support the Flatwater Foundation last year and am thrilled to be back again this year. Knowing that the money I raised will help people get emotional and mental health support throughout a cancer diagnosis, for themselves or a family member, is such a great feeling.

"You can support this great cause by helping sponsor my paddle. Those funds truly touch lives and give real, tangible support to our fellow Austinites.

"Here's to another great Dam That Cancer paddle!!!"

Deb's been going Over the Edge (rappelling 38 stories down The W Austin) for a few years - see the crazy video here - and you could help her do it again next year by being one of the first 200 people in Austin to raise $1,500 for Make A Wish®!

In years past Make A Wish® has been able to grant over 230 wishes for kids in Central and South Texas, including sweet little Genevieve below. After she was helped by Make-A-Wish, she has continued to be involved so she can help back.  Check out for more info on how you can help.

To help Make A Wish reach their goal of $500,000 this year and send Deb back Over the Edge, just go here and give what you can so more kiddos like Genevieve can have their wishes granted.

We love helping kids and partying, so when we can combine the two, it's a win-win! Jason and Deb host The Flashback Party which raises thousands of dollars for a good cause.

Check out the photos from last year's Flashback, where we all dressed up as the Scooby Gang!

Deb has recently begun volunteering with Meals On Wheels And More - both as someone who delivers meals and who goes shopping for people who can't do it for themselves. She loves it! You don't even have to volunteer as a regular driver to participate - check out their website to see how you can be a fill-in driver when others can't make it. It will literally change someone's life. (Including Jason's, if no one's there to pick up their food, and he gets the leftovers.)

Deb fosters for Austin Pets Alive! frequently and loves how they pull so many pit-type dogs from the kill shelters, like her boy (and unofficial Morning X mascot), Blue. Adopt, foster, donate or walk a dog today at the shelter!

Emancipet is a local spay/neuter clinic that offers low cost/free services for people of all income levels. We love this group because through their services, they help control/decrease the homeless pet population, and therefore prevent more animals being unwanted and or euthanized.

Check Jason and Deb in their naked photo with their pets they promised if their listeners raised $20,000 for Emancipet - they raised $32,000.
