Almost a week ago, Super Typhoon Haiyan crashed into the Philippines, completely destroying towns and villages on many islands. According to CNN, more than 2,300 people have died, more than 3,800 have been injured, many are still missing.

Those that survived the typhoon, known in the Philippines as Typhoon Yolanda, are now fearing for their lives on shore. Millions of people are without food and water, and the shortages are leading desperate people to resort to looting, lawlessness and crime, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Here's how you can help.
