After touring with the Mumford men on the Railroad Revival Tour in 2011 (including a stop in Austin), Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros have signed to Mumford and Sons' label, Gentlemen of the Road -- Mumford's first sign and a thriving one at that.

The news comes alongside the announcement that Edward et al. plan to release their third self-titled album on August 26 with their new, gentle label.

A sample of their new sound -- no Mumford influence in sight -- can be heard via their single "Better Days", a departure from their breakthrough "Home".

If you haven't heard it yet, listen to "Better Days" below and let us know what you think.
