Twin Shadow's "Five Seconds" video takes a new angle on his dreamy 80's synth aesthetic. The single is an epic buildup to his second LP, Confessions. The five-minute vignette paints a picture of frontman George Lewis Jr. on a motorcycle chase in an obscure woods-y area. The credits claim the video is based on the novel Night of the Silver Sun, by Lewis and Eric Green.

Born in the Dominican Republic, by way of Florida, Lewis released his debut album Forget, which tailored much attention from the indie-pop world. He has since made his New Wave influences audible and, based off this new single, seems to follow suit with his soon-to-be-released material. Confessions drops July 10th.
