This week I had one of our video guys film me while at Crossfit Central and make an awesome workout montage video. Unfortunately we couldn't get the rights to the music from Rocky IV where Sylvester Stallone runs up the Russian Alps, but I feel we got close. Check it out.

Saw this the other day. Dewayne "The Rock:" Johnson is bulking up for a Hercules movie and posted his daily meal plan to Twitter. Can you get lion's blood at Whole Foods or is that something you have to order online?

I got an email this week from a friend who is considering starting a healthier lifestyle by joining Crossfit and they asked me for any advice. I've decided to post my response below for anyone else who might read this and be considering starting Crossfit as well. As always feel free to email me firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any further questions...
So I've been contemplating doing cross fit and I've seen your results and I really want to do it. I was wondering if you could maybe help me out and point me in the right direction. Any help would be great."
Easiest thing to do is check out http://centralathlete.com/ which is Crossfit Central's website, and click on Start Now. That will get you signed up for Crossfit Elements which is basically a crash course in Crossfit. They'll go over all the basic lifts and exercises you'll ...

Last week I wanted to check in and discuss my future with Crossfit Central now that I've met the weight loss requirements set forth by Deb. At least I that's what I set out to do. I was kinda out of it after Thursday's W.O.D.

And finally after five months(and a couple of extensions) I have met the weight loss requirements Jason and Deb set forth. I suppose I should say something about how the journey was more important than the destination, but that would be a lie. The past two months has been make sure that when I stepped onto the scale at the end of May it said 219 or less. I didn't care about how I did it or whether the methods I used were good for my health. It was about making weight pure and simple.
That's why I'm so glad it's finally over. Now I can stop worrying about it and focus on what, to me, this whole thing was really about. Pretty much every book and website out there will tell you that focusing on a weight is setting yourself up for disaster. And after five months I ...

Had the first Crossfit workout of the week yesterday and it was a good one. There were squats and cleans and ring dips, and even some running. Needless to say it kicked my ass but for the first time I felt like it was kicking my ass because I was crushing a workout and not because I'm an out of shape fatass. So that was a milestone in and of itself. I also feel like a real Crossfiteer in that practically every part of my body now has some sort of malady going on. My left hip feels like it's constantly about to pop out of place, my right knee feels swollen and tight, and my bum shoulder from a dirt bike crash three years ago has always been an issue but now I swear I can feel a random bone poking out. My entire body feels beat up and ...

So this is finally it. I have until the end of the week to be under 220lbs in order to get the Neograft Hair Transplant from Restora Austin, and I feel like I'm 99% sure that I'm already there. I somehow forgot to account for Memorial Day so I'm worried that that might have throw me off track a bit. I didn't go crazy on making poor food choices, but I did consume a good amount of booze calories. Why don't I just get on a scale weigh myself one might ask? Because I'm scared to. The last thing I want to deal with right now is finding out that I'm sabotaged myself right at the finish line and have to go on a two day crash diet or jog around the neighborhood in a sweat suit. That's kind of the oppasite of what I'm going for. This should be ...
