I Want A McDonald's Cat!

Wednesdays we shine a light on That Guy – the guy (or girl) who does something douchey and either doesn’t realize it or doesn’t apologize for it. Today’s guy is comedy facial hair guy. Jason’s friend who happens to be Deb’s roommate has been rocking a creeper mustache for the last month or so and Jason is beside himself as to why someone would chose to sport that facial hair just for a laugh.
RESTORA AUSTIN DOCTORS:
The doctors of Restora stop by our studio to answer all your questions about plastic surgery. The doctors also answered a question about whether or not you need to change breast implants. Both Dr. Reid and Dr. Gordon say that it’s a misconception that a woman needs to have her breast implants changed. They say that if the implants still feel soft and comfortable that there is no need to have them changed. Producer Nick also updated the doctors on his healthy lifestyle changes; taking off his shirt in studio and reassuring the doctors that he will be getting that free hair implant come June.
I LOVE YOU CALL:
At 8:50 Deb calls a random business and tries to get the person answering the phone to say, “I love you.” Today Deb is calling Jalopy Shop to see if they will work on her classic car. The dilemma is that Deb has lost her keys and she needs new ones made. Vincent at the shop really wants to help Deb but I’m not sure he can and in the end the no love streak continues.
Producer Nick is an angry man, but we allow him to yell at whomever he wants, as long as he changes the name to "Redacted." Nick keeps a journal filled with his angry redacted notes, and today we noticed there was a big backlog of notes he hadn’t vented about. He’s angry at grocers who don’t cut off the tendon of chicken at the store, vanilla protein shakes because unlike all the other flavors vanilla tastes horrible, oh and also those “green fuzzy things falling from the tree.”
WHOSE TWEET IS IT ANYWAY:
Celebrities say silly things on Twitter and we like to follow their thoughts but can you place who said what? Today we are playing with Zac Efron, Zach Braff, and Zachary Levi. One of them has just hit 2 million followers and is grateful, one woke up at 6AM, and one has ambitious sperm. In the end, Deb and our listener's knowledge of Zachs dominated Jason to take the win.
DEB'S BACK.. AGAIN:
It seems the saga of Deb’s back is coming to a close. She had to have an MRI yesterday to get the bottom of the situation, and was anticipating the results until this morning. While in the MRI scanner she heard a loud noise and jumped (which is a no no) and so they had to do the scan twice. However it was all worth it because she found out her back will prevail and heal. We can all breath easy again.
SCARY MOVIES DON'T SCARE DEB:
Over the weekend Deb went to see the remake of the horror film “Evil Dead.” When she was a little girl the original Evil Dead scared the hell out of her, but now she feels that as an adult she can handle the gore and frightening scenes. She was right, she didn’t think it was scary…at all. This all made her wonder if maybe she’s desensitized to scary films much like Jason might be desensitized to porn.
DOES DEB KNOW STUFF:
Every day we “trivialize” Deb by asking her quiz questions, then laughing when she doesn’t know the answers. Today’s trivia is all about fast food in tribute to Frankie the McDonald’s cat. All the questions will have an answer of McDonald’s, Whataburger, or other. While Deb is a very healthy person, she really knows her greasy and fatty food restaurants and proves our listener wrong.
PET OF THE WEEK:
We're all about supporting animal charities, and bringing you the happiness of animals in your own home. So you should check out our friends at Love-A-Bull, who are currently looking for a home for Tiggy, who has clearly lived with a family before, and she wants to be part of yours now. She's very well trained around dogs and people. Give her and the other adopt-a-bulls a look here.
A cat in New Zealand named Frankie has now become famous for his eating habits at a local McDonalds. Customers would feed the stray leftover chicken nuggets, fries, burger patties, and so much more. A regular at the fast food venue, Jessica Watson, adopted the cat and has since got the McKitty on a more dependable diet.
An audio clip of the deceased Michael Jackson has surfaced of the King of Pop asking his dermatologist about a problem he was having with his privates. It was clear in the voicemail that Mr. Jackson did not want to discuss the topic over the phone.
A town in Louisiana has passed a new law that bans saggy pants. If caught wearing the trend there are fines that increase with number of offenses. Jason and Alex argue that even if you don’t like the fashion, you cannot govern what people decide what to wear or not to wear... within boundaries.
Pat Summerall, legendary NFL announcer has passed away at the age of 82. He was recovering from a hip surgery when he passed. Just in case you don’t know who Pat is, he was a big player in the 1950s and then a play-by-play announcer for the NFL up until close to his death.
Lance Armstrong has bought a new house in the Austin area. The home has five stories, and cost the former biker around 4 million dollars. The home has apparently been put in someone else’s name even though Armstrong will be the one residing there.
Following the tragic Boston Marathon bombing, the New York Yankees will be playing “Sweet Caroline” during a game as a tribute to the city of Boston as the song is usually played at Fenway Park during Red Sox games. While the teams are notorious rivals its always nice to see these acts of kindness in times of sadness.
Adam Scott who just won The Masters has been approached to be the next Bachelor. Producers at the show Tweeted to their fans asking for feedback on the possibility of the athlete entering a new realm of sport: reality TV love. Someone who might be disappointed with this news, Ryan Lochte who showed some interest in the position following his Olympic success.
