Wild Child

WILD CHILD’s self released debut PILLOW TALK garnered five #1 spots on indie-music blog mecca Hype Machine. They were named BEST INDIE and BEST FOLK band at the Austin Music Awards (Austin Chronicle) during SXSW 2013. Recent television appearances include Last Call with Carson Daly, AXS Live and PBS. They are currentlyworking with producer Ben Kweller to master their sophomore album THE RUN AROUND slated for release in Fall 2013.

The Austin Chronicle also reviewed both their albums Wonder Winds & Even Clothed in December of 2011. They have played with Portugal. The Man, Shearwater, and Sondre Lerche and have sold out venues such as The Mohawk Austin, The Parish, and Rockwood Music Hall.

Danny Malone

Danny Malone is considered progressive folk music or folk ‘n’ roll. What makes his performances stand out is his mixture of his indie rock folk sound with his pop ‘n’ lock choreography. Indie Sounds music blog left favorable reviews for Danny Malone’s 2009 album Cuddlebug. His new album Balloons has garnered interest especially because of his new song “Spiderlegs” which online magazine, In Your Speakers, believes to be his most versed track yet as well as being Loudersoft’s song of the week. He has performed official shows on SXSW from 2010 to 2012 and has also been featured in the Austin Chronicle for the past two weeks.

A 4-5 piece rock band that writes vocal forward, dynamic songs. Drawing from influences like The Dirty Projectors and Radiohead, Taft crafts songs that lean heavily on the different textures that the voice is able to make. Without forgetting the importance of a good beat, Taft writes songs with rhythms that you want to move your foot and (god forbid) wave your arms too! Tonight Taft release their new EP, Intarsia. Holiday Mountain

Holiday Mountain is a three-piece psych-dub-pop band. In early 2012 they released their ten track album Become Who You Are with guitarist Mike Simonelli showcasing the band’s musical range. Recently, Holiday Mountain performed for over 1,500 spectators for their headlining show at Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art. Other highlights include a rave review of their album in Performer Magazine, a spot as the weekly feature on Foundwaves.com, and press coverage from both The Boston Globe and CBS Boston. Currently, they are working on fresh material for their next album.
