Hacienda
From a little further down I-35, Hacienda is bringing the roll back to rock. A mixture of brothers and cousins from San Antonio, Hacienda's music is a mixture of blues, Americana and good ole rock. These lucky dogs caught the eye of The Black Key's Dan Auerbach, who produced their album Shake Down, released earlier this year.

The Preservation
Since 2009, The Preservation have been touring, recording and being as cosmic as they can be. The band members have migrated from each of the American coasts to end up in Austin, Texas, bringing with them some old school folk beats and slow psychedelic sounds that make The Preservation stick out. In the fall of 2010 they raised $10,000 through the Kickstarter program and recorded their first album just last year.
