Today's catch is a brilliant cover of Lil' Wayne's "How to Love" done by School of Seven Bells. Now this is the second cover from School of Seven Bells in the last two months. The first being "Kiss Them for Me", which was originally done by Siouxsie and the Banshees, and was released earlier this summer. The original "How to Love" by Lil' Wayne was actually one of my favorite tracks of 2011, and I think that SVIIB have really done it justice. It's a little different hearing it from the vocals of a female, but all of the emotion from the tracks still comes out the same. Now this is the second non-album track from School of Seven Bells 2011 release, which shows that the band is still active when it comes to recording. It really is interesting to see how a slow hip-hop jam was transformed into a chilled-out electronic track, and I think it really works. Lovers of the original song and of the hip-hop genre should be on board with this one. You can listen to a sample of today's catch, "How to Love" in the audio player above. Good things!
