Yeasayer has been busy at work, and will be releasing a follow up to their last album, Odd Blood, later this year. How do I know this? Well, this week I received a little CD in my 101X mailbox that had today's catch of the day entitled "Henrietta", and a note that said the following...

"Dear Human Being.

Enclosed is a burned compact disc version of "Henrietta", a single from our upcoming album. We wanted you to hear it first. Please know you were chosen (1 of 200) at random from over 7 billion people on the planet earth. Pls share w/ the internets.

Now I have to be honest with you...I was actually not selected from over 7 billion people since the CD single was sent over from their record label. However, several lucky people that were signed up on their fanclub did receive this exact same CD with the same note. With all of this said, I feel it is my responsibility to adhere to Yeasayer's request and share it with the internets. Who am I to go against Yeasayer?
