With the success of their two first singles, "Lofticries" and"Belispeak", Purity Ring is set to release their first full length LP in July. The Canadian duo's first album will be called Shrines, and will be available on July 24th. In addition to the first two singles that we play pretty heavily on Chillville, they will have 9 more new tracks (a total of 11), including the first official single from the LP entitled "Obedear". And yes, you guessed it..."Obedear" is today's catch of the day. Purity Ring will also be embarking on a North American tour, which happened to kick off at this past weekend's Nocturnal Wonderland. Now, since this band has sprung out into the scene about a year ago, they have really impressed critics and fans alike, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what more Purity Ring can offer with their full length album.
