I want to introduce you to the beautiful and talented Meg Myers. Now you won't find a lot of information about her via the official site. The only thing of interest is that she is originally from Tennessee, but currently resides in L.A. However, I can tell you that she has some fantastic tracks that range from singer/songwriter to electronic. She has been recently working with Doctor Rosen Rosen, who is a DJ/Producer and is one of the finer re-mixers that we play on the show. Meg's partnership with DRR is beautifully brought together in today's catch, "Curbstomp". The best way to describe Meg Myers is a grittier and tougher Lana Del Rey, or a songwriting cross between St. Vincent & Lykke Li. Her dynamic range in music is pretty impressive, and it makes a lot of sense considering the different instruments she knows how to play. I think her best work comes from the electronic sound that she brings, mixed with her emotional lyrics. She is also one pretty fine woman to look at!!!
